Entry-Level Structural Engineer

We are a small, design-focused structural engineering firm based in Mill Valley, CA, serving the greater Bay Area. Our work spans custom residential homes, remodels, additions, and light commercial projects. We value creativity, collaboration, and a hands-on approach to engineering.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a recent graduate in Civil or Structural Engineering to join our team as an Entry-Level Structural Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced engineers on real-world projects from day one, gaining exposure to all phases of design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the structural design of wood, steel, concrete, and masonry buildings
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and construction documents
• Conduct site visits and assist with field observations
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients
• Research building codes and assist with permit applications

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Strong understanding of structural principles and materials
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Enercalc, RISA, Excel or SAP2000 is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• EIT certification is required.
