Project Manager-Architecture

Position Overview
An established architecture and design practice is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects from initial planning through construction completion. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage project teams, maintain client relationships, oversee budgets and schedules, and contribute to business growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, contracts, and overall project performance.
  • Prepare project scopes, fee proposals, and resource plans.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams and consultant partners.
  • Review project deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project objectives.
  • Support business development activities, including client outreach, proposal preparation, and participation in presentations or interviews.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining project deadlines and client expectations.
Qualifications
  • Professional architectural license preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Approximately 7–10 years of architectural experience with increasing project leadership responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects from planning and design through construction administration.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and scope management.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard design and documentation software, including BIM platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative team environment.
